From the first message to an empty house.

The first message: Send the form or an email with the property location, contents and timeline.
The walk-through: About an hour, at the property. We look in every room, the garage, the basement and the attic. You tell us what you are keeping. We assess the contents.
The estimate: In writing, before anything is agreed: what we expect the contents to make, our commission, what the cleanout costs, and the dates.
Lock-down: Before any sorting starts, anything you are keeping is removed or physically tagged, and small valuables like jewelry, coins, cash and firearms are secured and recorded in writing. Every hand they pass through afterwards is logged.
Sorting and cataloging: Our crew, in the house, usually three to eight days depending on size. Everything of value is photographed, described, measured and lotted. Anything that needs a specialist gets one before it is listed.
Your preview: You see the entire catalog before it goes live, lot by lot. If something of yours is in it, you pull it, and it comes out. Nothing is listed until you have confirmed.
The auction: Online, running seven to ten days, open to bidders anywhere. You can watch it as it runs.
Pickup: Buyers collect in scheduled slots over one or two days. Our crew is there for all of it. Nothing leaves the property unpaid.
Cleanout: What did not sell is donated, recycled or removed, agreed with you in advance. The house is swept and photographed empty, and you get the keys back.
Settlement: Within ten days of the last pickup: a statement showing every lot and what it sold for, our commission, any expenses, and the payment.

It depends on the size of the house, what is in it, and whether anything needs a specialist.
